Maddie was an athletic little misfit as a kid, getting kicked out of Sparks/Brownies for distracting the other girls inventing games when she wasn’t interested in the planned activity.
Her early career spanned hospitality, marketing, sales, retail operations and planning events, projects and writing books and talks for top Canadian entrepreneurs from Dragon’s Den and Entrepreneurs’ Organization. As an executive assistant for 10 years she learned to manage the most demanding of schedules and got very strategic about protecting the focus and energy of company leaders to keep scaling the business rapidly without burning out.
Her creative, make-your-own-rules mindset drew her to invent a proactive, holistic approach to time and energy management that worked so effectively for her and her exec that she began teaching the rest of her team, peers and then clients to do it for themselves. She believes you can ‘grow the pie’ of time and energy by working with your natural rhythms and taking advantage of peak performance times for what matters most – and taking care of your wellbeing and home life with the same strategic, proactive mindset as your business.
She now shares her knowledge and tactics with the masses, teaching individuals and teams to value and focus their time better like successful entrepreneurs do. You don’t need a $100K executive assistant to steal the tactics for yourself.
